Cumberland's Restauranteurs Plus Policy includes the following basic coverage as standard;

  • Loss of or Damage to Stock and Trade Contents as a result of;

    • Fire, Lightning, Explosion and Aircraft,
    • Storm, Tempest, Flood and Earthquake,
    • Burst Pipes and Overflowing of Water Tanks, Impact ,
    • Theft, or attempted Theft, Malicious Damage,
    • Accidental Damage.

  • Loss of or Damage to Trade Contents whilst temporarily moved from the business premises.
  • Damage to Buildings as a result of Theft.
  • Automatic seasonal increases.

    • Business Interruption as a result of;
    • Damage to the building which prevents the retailer from continuing his business,
    • Denial of Access following damage to a neighbour's premises which prevents access to the business premises,
    • Damage to Suppliers premises,
    • Suspected incendiary or explosive device on the premises.

  • Workmen's Compensation.
  • Public Liability, including;

    • Bodily injury and or property damage occurring to customers on the premises,
    • Liability as a tenant under Articles 556 and 557 of the Codes des Obligations des Contrats,
    • Liability to Neighbours under Articles 122 to 127 of the Codes des Obligations des Contrats,
    • Products Liability.

  • Loss of Money (cash or cheques) whilst on the premises or in transit as a result of Theft or Hold-Up.
  • Personal Accident (Assault) whilst the employee is on the premises.
    In addition, the basic cover can be extended to include the following extensions;
  • Loss of or Damage to Personal Possessions.
  • Damage to the Buildings due to Fire, Lightning, Explosion and Aircraft, Storm, Tempest, Flood and Earthquake, Burst Pipes and Overflowing of Water Tanks, Impact , Theft, or attempted Theft, Malicious Damage and Accidental Damage.
  • Deterioration of Stock following failure of appliance.
  • Goods In Transit.
  • Personal Accident.
